Jordan Campbell-On Air Personality
A native of Killen, AL, Jordan Campbell graduated from Brooks High School in 2011 and earned a Bachelors of Science in the Entertainment Industry field from the University of North Alabama with Suma Cume Laude honors in 2015. He began his radio career with Fox Sports Shoals in 2016 by co-hosting a weekly baseball show entitled Ahead in the Count, which covered Major League baseball. While Ahead in the Count eventually turned into a podcast, Jordan impressed the company enough to be entrusted with hosting a few High School Football Coaches Shows, sideline reporting, basketball play by play and color, and helping usher in high school baseball and softball game broadcasts. Since taking over full time in 2017, Jordan has only grown in his ability to broadcast games and create interesting radio, earning the distinction of 2019 Alabama Medium Market Sportscaster of the Year and co earning the 2020 Alabama Medium Market Show of the year honors with co-host Chuck Hammer. Jordan hosts and produces Shoals Sports Talk, The Approach, Friday Night Football Live, SEC Media Days LIVE, and Six High School Football Coaches Shows, along with the annualĀ Buffalo Wild Wings High School Football and Basketball Player of the Year Ceremonies live.
Being from the area, Jordan makes it a point to make the Shoals proud and to give back to the communities that helped form him into the broadcaster he is today. Jordan married his wife Anna Kate in 2019 and the couple currently lives in Florence.
